What's happening? Here's what I'm up to over the next couple of months.
It's that time of year again. Another epic photowalk is going to kick off on September 27-28. After Berlin 2012 and Dorset 2013, this time, fellow photogs Athena Carey, John Dunne and I have picked the Irish coastline of Donegal as our gathering spot. If it'll be anything like last year's Dorset outing, it's going to be awesome. As in AWESOME!
If you're interested in joining us, better book a flight and a B&B soon, as we expect a few dozen photographers from all over Europe to join the crowd. All details about locations, schedules, and itinerary you'll find at the corresponding Google+ community. See you there.
Somehow I keep ending up in Sweden every year. Most of the time, in the Southern provinces of Halland, Småland and Skåne, with regular visits to Malmö, Göteborg, and the Glasriket.
This fall, however, we're heading back to the capital for a four-day birthday bash. I rented a nice apartment in the Södermalm part of the city via Airbnb (who needs a hotel?), close enough to walk to all the major attractions of the city, yet quiet enough from the city buzz.
This is gonna be good.
On October 11th, I'll be leading the Hamburg section of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk 2014. We'll be touring the old warehouse district and the new harbor city along the Elbe river. If you happen to be in town, please join us for an afternoon of shooting, walking, talking, and, of course, drinks afterwards.
