Somehow I keep ending up in Sweden every year. Most of the time, in the Southern provinces of Halland, Småland and Skåne, with regular visits to Malmö, Göteborg, and the Glasriket. This fall, however, we were heading back to the capital for a four-day birthday bash. I rented a nice apartment in the Södermalm part of the city via Airbnb (who needs a hotel?), close enough to walk to all the major attractions of the city, yet quiet enough from the city buzz.
On one of the days during our stay, I realized that 500px was doing a worldwide photowalk and a guy from Stockholm was organizing a local walk. Needless to say that I joined the very international (!) crowd, and it turns out that many of the local photographers (who came from as far as India, Iran, and Australia) knew quite a few of my photog friends. What a great community.
I like Stockholm. I could move here.
