After many years, I returned to my old stomping grounds in Silicon Valley for a big IBM reunion with many of my local and international friends who worked with me at Almaden. Aside from three days of partying I was able to visit many friends between Los Gatos and Marin County and obviously take the camera out every once in a while.
Since our friends Jasna and John let us use their beautiful house in San Francisco (while they were unfortunately out of town themselves) I was able to often drive over a few blocks to the Presidio and take a few images of the most beautiful bridge in the world.
One night, I joined fellow photographer Lorenzo Montezemolo up on Slacker Hill to shoot the sunrise across the bay, with the Golden Gate Bridge at our feet. What a great way to start the day. A few hours later, I crawled around the batteries along Lincoln Blvd and found a few new interesting angles. I could shoot that bridge all day....
